This game is great and I'm really enjoying it. I only sorta use the guides. I'd rather plunder through myself and figure it out. I've gotten 2 of the special plants and have 31 bugs so far.

My question is:
What's the difference between easy, normal and hard???

One thing I've found that helps catching bugs is having the plants that are flowering on the bottom row. Then the bugs have to fly down and it gives you a little more time to snatch 'em up.

Good idea to put these plants at the bottom!
I don't know the difference between easy, normal and hard (it's my 1st game and I play in easy!) but I suppose it could be the first seeds, their nature and their number!

I would like the answer to this question as well. There's not much of a help file in the game and I can't find the answer anywhere to what the difference is between easy, normal and hard.

I would say both, as there are players here who are <10 and >60. Some like the detective aspect of solving puzzles like breeding. Others like collecting bugs or finding all the magic plants. Some hard-core players set higher goals such as breeding all the plants, or climbing their way to the top of the leaderboard.

Mainly the plant requirements to stay healthy are more stringent. For example, certain plants can live in level 1 soil long enough to pollinate on the EASY setting. On the NORMAL and HARD setting, they require level 2 soil and will die long before being mature in level 1 soil.

Since I posted on 9/27, I've gotten all six of the magic plants! YEAH!!! And 46 of the 48 bugs. I'm still missing the one on the book and the top one in the middle. I've only gotten 112 species. Gosh darn....seems like I should have more than that. So now I don't know exactly what I want to do. Hunt for the last 2 bugs or try and get all the species.

This really is a good game to play because you can "play" and go wash a load of clothes or fix dinner or even take a shower. So at least I don't feel so guilty about playing because I really am getting stuff done....unlike some other games that demand you entire concentration.

Another thing....when I'm outside in the yard, and I see a _bug_ flying, I automatically think.....GET THE NET!!! Or if I'm driving down the road and see a tree that has dead limbs, I think.....TRIM THE TREE!!! I'm serious! I even have dreamed about these [censored] bugs and plants. UGH!!! Maybe it's time to give it a rest!
