With the world as it is, quality entertainment free from sex, violence and language is very hard to come by. Before I found LDW and their games, I hadn't found a truly wholesome game.

I've been playing for several months now, and I have to say LDW is one of the best game developers in the world. I say this because of the quality of the gameplay, and the appeal to all members of the family. Granted, other developers have certainly made much larger, graphically intensive, story rich, high-tier soundtrack game titles. However, LDW's games blow that all away with their lasting and wholesome value.

They have provided me with a good diversion from a hectic life, and it helps me very much to unwind for my next work period. Thanks LDW.

I want to open this up for the rest of you. How much do you appreciate LDW and why?

I love LDW, because the games are so much fun to play, and the game creators are such great people.

I agree. I can always count on LDW to make games that I can let my 8 year old granddaughter play without worrying about violence, sex or other 'no-no's' when it comes to game play and children! THANKS!

I think the game and it's developers are great. I honestly play VV2 more than any other game ever and I've never participated in another forum. It really is nice to have a game that offers so much that the whole family can play and enjoy. I've even got my neices and nephews hooked now. And, I have to say the game seems to attract quality people in it's players, the forum participants are great too. My husband has joked "well, you certainly got your money's worth out of that game". I agree. Thanks for making it great all the way around!

I totally agree with the earlier posts. In particular, the VV games a a real breath of fresh air. I'm not your "normal" game player in that I dislike "shoot-em-ups" and most puzzle games. I'm not a parent, so the family-friendly aspect of the games personally matters little, but I gave VV1 to my 9-year-old niece for Christmas and now she's as hooked as I am.

I am really enjoying the game. I do like the fast pace first person shooter games, but it's nice to sit back and just watch the game go itself \:\)

I know, I'm a very delicate person and am NOT a fan of bloody games and gory games, except Trauma Center, because it's not violent, just a bit bloody cuz yer operating on peeps, but LDW games are my favorite games! \:\)

LDW is great and unique as they make games which cotinue after you finish the game and when you return to the game/s there is always some surprises that no other games site has ever done.

I echo those sentiments and so much more. I don't own a game that I play as much as I do LDW's. The villagers stole my heart, then you came along with Plant Tycoon, which has given me so much fun that I can't express it all. LDW, TOP GAME DEVELOPER IN THE WORLD.

I really love the two Virtual Villagers! At the opposite of many games, the challenge is to make some peoples increasing their knowledge even if they don't have, a priori, any skills nor willing for that! And the priority is to make them living healthy and HAPPY!!!

Frankly, other than Mahjong Gardens and The Sims, other computer games bore me. However, LDW has a way of catching one's imagination like no other gamers I know.

You get very very protective of your little people.
They work so hard, and ask for so little.
(Personally, I bake teeny tiny little chocolate chip cookies and leave them on my desk every night so they can sneak out and grab some for a treat!)
The cookies sans any crumbs, are always gone in the morning.

8\)Last night, I sat down @ my desk with a cup of coffee and two big chocolate cookies to see how my villages were doing. The phone rang and it was my husband. We talked for about an hour. He's doing great.
But when I came back, both the cup and the cookies were gone! They looked quite contend......

Since my only child left for college, VV2 has occupied my time. I absolutely love this game! My man thinks I'm crazy and is constantly making smart remarks about my villagers!

8\)Have care! One Sabbath, we found an empty wine bottle and all of the rest of the Challah (sweet, egg rich bread) gone.

My husband brought VV1 and VV2 as gifts for me. At first he too made fun, until I told him about the goings on in my villages. Then he became interested. Now, this same man who made fun of me is not only taking VV2 to Iraq with him, but Plant Tyoon as well.

I'm fairly new here, but the Village games are peaceful, and actually calming. I love the idea of no one mowing down people for no reason with some mega weapon. More people should play these...they are interesting, and include some educational ideas as well! Kudos to the entire team! I love the games! \:D
