Changing your computer's system clock is not the same as bookmarking a page or doing an update. If your computer's system clock is inaccurate, your computer will be affected in many ways that are not immediately apparent. A computer's operating system relies on an accurate system clock, as do many applications, such as anti-virus software, calendaring, email, and many Internet sites. Anyone is free to change their system clock as much as they want, but if anything goes wrong you're pretty much on your own. Support is generally not available for self-inflicted computer problems caused by changing the system clock. Have fun with the game any way you like, but be aware that there are risks that you probably don't understand.
