Ghost Pots Mod

This was a very easy mod to do, and it turned out much better than I expected, so I am sharing it with everyone! \:\)

My previous mod, the aeroponics mod, was great for finding bugs but not so great at figuring out which pots had soil or seeds in them. \:\(

A soil only mod with no pots just looks very odd to me. So I came up with the idea of having see-through soil and see-through pots.

Note the spider in the second picture, hiding behind the see-through pot. You can swing your butterfly net right through the pot and catch him. \:\)

Hope you like it as much as I do,
Borg

How do you get these mods to work? I've tried the ones to make the dead foliage turn blue and this one and can't get either one to work? I got the virtual seed tray without any problems, but can't figure this out. Please help!

Now that is good, I was afraid of that with the no pots mod, I like the ghosties better.

This is the link to the instructions you need:
Plant Tycoon Guide Thread on How to Install Graphic Mods

Here is a Summary of the Instructions (for MS Windows)

To back up the images folder and install image mods on a Windows computer, perform the following steps. (You may use any method of your choosing to back up the images, of course, but the procedure below is a very simple, step-by-step process for people who need some help backing up files and installing the mod.)
  • Make sure that Plant Tycoon is not running (quit the game, if it is)
  • Open My Computer and navigate to the folder where Plant Tycoon is installed (usually c:\Program Files\Plant Tycoon)
  • Open the Plant Tycoon folder
  • Create a new folder and call it something like Images-Backup
  • Open the Images folder
  • Ctrl-A to select all of the images in the folder, then Ctrl-C to copy them
  • Open the new backup folder that you created previously and Ctrl-V to paste all of the images into the backup folder
  • Download the mod that you want to install and save it to a location of your choosing
  • Right-click the downloaded mod file and select Extract all... from the popup menu
  • Follow the instructions in the wizard and allow the wizard to show the extracted files
  • Ctrl-A to select all of the images in the folder, then Ctrl-C to copy them
  • Open the original Images folder and Ctrl-V to paste all of the images into the game's Images folder
  • When asked if you want to replace the existing file(s), click Yes to All
  • Launch Plant Tycoon and enjoy the new images in the game!

Me too. Very unnerving for plants to float in mid-air like that. \:\)
