It seems odd to me that the honey doesn't rejuvenate very quickly. Has anyone found any tricks to getting it to refill more often? I tried leaving a little in there to see if draining it completely was part of the problem but when I turn around my guys go and get the last little bit. I don't know if leaving a little honey or a little fruit on the trees has any positive effects or not. Just wondering.

I don't think there is a trick to get the honey rejuvenate or fruits faster. Not without cheating!
escept that you may play in Fast Speed.
The best is to get the ability of fishing as soon as you can! \:\)

theres island events that help with the honey. Other then that, I think its like the coconut trees in vv2. anytime theres any to harvest, they collect from that first until theres no more.

There's no trick. Honey regenerates about 2 food per hour at normal speed. 2 food per hour doesn't support much, as you can guess. The honey is not a long term food supply - no village will survive on just honey. You must seek out alternative food sources.

I've long since achieved the other food sources, so I'm only curious, not worried; but it's been a long time since I found any honey in my hive. I'm assuming that the game does NOT reach a point where honey fails to regenerate, but that my dedicated Farmers are harvesting it when I happen not to be looking.

Am I wrong?

--A Few Minutes Later--

Literally days of play since I last saw honey, I one of my Farmers just carried a bowl down, with the hive reading 11--and immediately after the bowl went into the bin, the hive again had too little to harvest.

So apparently functioning as designed, and my Farmers know their job better than I do.

I expect the villagers are heartily sick of eating honey for breakfast, lunch, and dinner in the early stages of the game. Plus mushrooms, of course (interesting combination that). cool

Later on, I imagine that a little honey will go a long way with them. smirk
