No more collections UNLESS there is a better method of obtaining them!!!!!! It is frustrating to have completed all of the puzzles and then have to wait for the "objects" to just appear at random.

I am sorry it is frustrating for you to obtain all of the collectables. This actually extends the playablity of the game. I know it took me what seemed like forever to get that last collectable but there is a reward at the end for your efforts. \:D Try and stick with it. It will be a great feeling of accomplishment in the end. \:D

I agree this can be frustrating, but there is so much you can do while you wait. As an example, you can have fun trying to dress your villagers in certain styles like white for elders green for farmers etc. You might also try incorporating some of the great mods(modifications) like the totem mod created by Gamemastr1 etc. These are available in the VV2 forum towards the bottom of the Forum List page. Finally, remember that even a healthy tribe can wither and die if you don't keep them healthy by checking on them from time to time.

BTW, I see you just registered today. Would you be kind enough to go to the introductions forum and post an intro for us? This way we can all greet you properly to our little corner of the world. \:D

I gave up on the collectibles. It got boring waiting for them. But they are useful for tech points.

Oh geez, you can't please everyone. Remember way back when there was only VV1! Everyone said it was boring when you completed the puzzles and left almost nothing else to do. So, we got collectables; and, now ppl are complaining they are boring and can't get the last one.

As Jazzo said they are great for tech points, especially in the early part of the game.

I like them and will hope LDW puts something similar in the new version.

And, as far as not getting them all; I have a game from February 2007 when the game first out and I'm still missing one.

Collecting is better than just watching villagers work.
And Collection is OPTIONAL.

I didn't even collected all of the things, but I think they should keep it, not replacing it with "Better" minigame.

I liked the collections part of VV2, it helped to pass the time time while waiting for other things to happen. I also liked that they added tech points, that got me over the line quicker with tech than if I ignored the collections.
