My daughter would like to download Virtual Families to her iPod touch. It states the price is $1.99, but doesn't indicate if that is monthly or total cost.

Can someone please help explain cost?

Virtual Families for iPhone/iPod is a complete application, and there are no costs beyond the $1.99 purchase price.

Some applications on the App Store offer additional content that can be purchased within the application for an additional cost (referred to on the App Store as In-App Purchase). Virtual Families is not that kind of application.
