We know that turning off the signature images was a decision that upset some people. Now that we have had a chance to discuss the issue at LDW and have made some changes and improvements to the forums, we are ready to try turning them back on, as long as everyone follows the new guidelines. We also have some plans for fun and exciting ways to use the forum signatures in connection with some of the new contests and features!

Signature images will be subject to the Forum Rules, which have been updated to include guidelines for forum signatures. I suggest that everyone read the updated Forum Rules before adding a new image to their signature, but these are the basics:

• Only one signature image (static images only - no animations) may be used.
• Images cannot exceed 80 pixels high by 240 pixels wide.
• No inappropriate images.
• No copyrighted images, unless you are the copyright holder or you have written permission from the copyright holder to use the image.

The copyright restrictions and appropriate content rules apply to avatars, as well. We are going to start contacting people who appear to be using copyrighted material in their profiles in order to make sure that our site is not in violation of copyright laws.

I'd suggest one addition to that list of restrictions: no animated images. They can be very distracting in sigs.

I wonder if the sig I used was okay or does it needs to be smaller as I have reduced the size of the same pic to fit. I not change it yet. I found the size of it in my pictures its 222x300
so far I reduced it to 146x198 dimentions so whats that in pixels

That's not a bad idea, since many of the animations that were used before were highly distracting. I'll add that to the guidelines, and everyone can throw their rotten tomatoes at arnie!
