VV2 Can't update stats

It hasn't happened for a long time (Thank you!) but I started getting the infamous "Update failed-are you online?" message Saturday morning and still have the problem. Can you help? Thanks.

The stats server was having a problem over the weekend. Everything should be working soon.

All of the stats servers are running properly. I just tested all four of them by logging into the servers, as well as by refreshing stats in each game, and found no problems.

The message gives only one possible reason for being unable to refresh stats. There are many more possibilities, which is why we have changed that error message for Plant Tycoon (and any future games). This answer in our Support FAQ provides complete details on that error.

I've found that, if the game can't get the stats, if you try later it doesn't even seem to try to connect, it just flashes up the "failed" message almost immediately. If you close the game then reopen it, it should try properly.
