I've posted a couple times in the VV forum, but figured I should say a proper hello. I've had VV for a week or so now, and am addicted, of course. Currently going through a food shortage I'm trying to deal with. But basically enjoying it and hoping for good results...

These are great forums. Thanks for letting me join!

Welcome to the island Heather. You will find these fellow villagers on the forums very friendly and helpful and well maybe a little crazy.

Thanks, hee hee. Mushies, gooooood.

The crisis is past--lots of villagers, lots of fish. Fishies gooooooood.

A lot of the little guys (and gals) are still suffering from the effects of prolonged hunger, but they are healthy and gradually regaining their lost health points.

Thanks for the welcome. \:\)

glad to hear they are doing better...just over time they will get better, remember that researchnig will keep them from healing as quickly, so watch out for your researchers

Thanks again for the tip. I keep a close eye on everyone. When someone starts to lose health points, I reassign them to an easier job--usually farming. But my folks are all healed up now, with just occasional damage from building or researching--at which point, of course, I switch them over and they heal up again.

Fishing really makes things go a lot faster--I can have a much larger population, and they're much more productive. Love the fish. \:\)
