Hey Guys and Gals,
GBU all 2.
I was "wondering if" there will be a time in Dec. for us to make "Christmas lights Event" in VVOS this year?
When I got VVOS "earlier" this yr., around March, I came in here to find "tips" for the game and came across a post about Christmas lights. Can't find it now.
I've been "crafting" my glass in anticipation that we would have the event this year.
Does anybody know, besides making glass, what else is needed for the Christmas light from years back? Do we need to have "both" Chapters done?
Thanks in advance for any help.
GBU and yours.

Hi there!

Thanks for your interest in the annual Holiday Lights event in VVO2 - it's been a fan favorite for several years now!

This year, the event will start on December 20th and run until January 6th. You don't need to have completed either chapter - everyone gets to take part!

We hope you have fun with your Virtual Villagers this holiday season!!!

Hey Keegan,
GBU 2.
1. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, from me and mine to you and yours.
2 Ok. Today is the 20th. So "how" and "when" do I "start" the "holiday light "event"?
There's "nothing" on the forums in "introducing the event".
I'm in the process of making my yellow custom glass for the yellow statue.
So "what/how/where" do I "start"?
GBU and yours.

Hi smile
You start by making glass and catching the fireflies around the village. Once you have them, you make a holiday light by combining the glass and firefly. You're supposed to have villagers hang them by placing them on the crafting hut to take them out.
There's a little gift icon on the side that tells you how many lights you need to make and how long the event lasts.

Hi Lorsieab,
GBU 2.
Thanks for the info. Can't find the "gift icon". Where is it located in the game, on the "homepage" when you begin the game?
On the page where you "pause" the game? How "long" does each light take to make?
GBU and yours.

Hi Lorsieab.
GBU 2. Forgot to tell you I have the "free version", "if" that makes a difference in "where" they are located.

I'm playing on my Android. In my game the icon's supposed to be on the right side when you're in your village. Can't miss it.
I downloaded the free version on Steam and in the Microsoft Store but the icon's not there. Couldn't find it frown
I think the lights take around 45 minutes to make?

Hey loriseab,
GBU 2.
At 1st. I bought thru IWN the game last March. Then I "experience" loading problems and went thru IWIN help and Larry, a IWIN tech helped me til mid July, and didn't get the problem solved.
He then went thru this site and got Keaqgan to help out. Keagan suggested the free game, so I have been playing since mid-July.
My version is 2.4.24.
So I "guess" the people with the free version "doesn't" get the Christmas light event?
GBU and yours.

I guess not!
I know for sure the iPhone and Android versions have the event. But the free ones on the computer (at least the ones I checked) don't. frown
