I adopted 3 children and I was wondering if I were to use one of the three as the next inheritor, would the next generation's genetics (if there is such a thing) start "new"? I don't know if the past inheritors have an impact on each of the following generations as I see some children with the same physical appearance as some of the ancestors regardless of their parents. But since adopted children are not related to any of the past generations, if one of them inherits the next generation, would his/her children not be influenced by the past ancestors? I'm very curious.
