How many marriage proposal chances do you get, and how old is your peep when the proposals stop coming? The guy I have now hasn't had one in about 4 years. He's 41 now. I adopted a couple of kids, so someone will inherit, but I'm curious as to how long the possible proposals might go on.

That hasn't happened to me in VF2 as I've married all mine off at the third proposal at the most. However, in VF1 the proposals kept coming throughout the life of the peep, albeit at longer and longer intervals.

I've done that up to now myself, but I decided not to accept a proposal unless it was someone with less than $150 in the bank or a perfect match. I think I got 4 or 5 proposals but I haven't had any since my guy was 37.

Interesting - so a "single" can adopt - I did wonder about that option! Thanks for the info.

Well, my guy is in his 50s now and he STILL hasn't received any more proposals. Thank goodness for the adoption feature in this game!

I'm going to continue to be picky in the next generation to see exactly how many proposals I get.

Oh dear. My lovely Crystal, who I'm very fond of "turned down" a proposal. She's now 37 so I'm afraid that might have been the last one! She's already got 3 kids via adoption and I've gone spend crazy finishing up decorating the house how I want it. But I guess she gets to enjoy the single mom life now. Power to her.

Well, she may be in luck! My guy turned 54 and after 17 years of no proposals, he got 2 in a row! One was 48 and definitely wanted children (ummm....too late!) and the other was 50 and was a maybe. Thank goodness for adoption!
