On VF for Android where are the Blond people? On the PC and iPod version there are blond people, but not on android.

The Android version is the same as the Windows version - the blond people are still there.

yes there are blond people but it seems a bit rare for me in game play. I tried adopting specifically a blond and it took me more tries to get a blond person than someone who has black hair or a brunette. I am just curious on why that is the case? Is it because of genetics and that people with black hair tends to pass on their genes more or if this is just a programming statistical problem? btw, this is just a suggestion for the new virtual familes 2 that I saw that was going to come out some day. This isnt in any way a downfall of virtal familes. I love the game and think it is great but I have noticed that it is harder to get blond people than it is to get people with black hair.

There are several long threads about the game's system of genetics in the forums for PC/Mac versions, for Virtual Villagers as well as Virtual Families as they use the same system.

There are less blond head choices than there are brunettes or redheads so blonds will be rarer. There is also a random element, so you might just be unlucky. Although it is not exact, you are most likely to have a blond child if at least one parent is blond. It's more complicated than that, but that gives a rough answer.

*sigh* here is the rundown on the VF genetics as i understand it.
if you have the PC\MAC version, you can go into the game files and look at the file ' bigheads00 ' (or you can just refer to this..)
this will show all the heads that are in the game.

now as you can see, these two heads are towards the bottom of the file. now! the two circled heads are the two adults that have been married. they are most likely to have the heads between, beside, or their own, as their children!

if they have one outside of that range it is considered a rare person.

I do know that you can't see the game files in the iOS version as Apple think it might be a security risk. Android may well be the same. You can only see the file for sure in the Windows or MacOS versions (and only then if they are from LDW, some game portals repackage the game and block access).
