All the families that i have ever had, all stop having kids after their 4th, and even with a baby boost i cannot get past 4 kids. Another thing, i can't seem to get twins or triplets. I've been playing the game for over a year now and this is how it has carried on, through all the gernerations. It's starting to bug me. Is there anything i can do or is my game glitched?

I've tested/played the game for over two years now, and I almost always have 6 kids in each generation. The key is to play the game often, and start attempting to make another baby as soon as possible after a baby is weaned. Baby boost can help, but persistence is the most important factor. If they argue, overrule them and keep at them until they try. If you have a lot of money, give them loads of baby boost - it uses up some of that excess money, and it does improve their chances of success.

The age of the mother also matters.
Click to reveal..
Babies after age 50 don't happen very often.
Most of my families have had 6 children and I've had twins and triplets in my families as well.

On my ios version I've tried everything with my 60 year olds but they never have kids anymore. It took so long between all four of their kids especially the 4th one who was pure luck at 45 by the time I wanted a 5th, they were reaching 50 and just completely stopped. Baby boosts just wasted my money. :p On the other hand with my pc version, my couple never had to use boosts but had two sets of twins and one separate girl.

Every couple is different, even in different generations of the family tree. Doing a doctor's consultation can give you a clue as to a particular peep's ability to have children, and the peeps will usually differ in their desire to have children. Even after working with Virtual Families for over 3 years on every platform we have offered the game on, my original advice still applies, if you want to have 6 children in every generation: stay involved in the family, try to make babies often, be persistent, and use baby boost when you have "money to burn." laugh

I'm quite sure there will be no births for a 60 year-old female in Virtual Families, even the ios version.
