Hi,

I'm 3 days new, and am having a great time breeding plants. I signed up here to see if I can get that Virtual Seed Tray and it tells me I'm not authorized to get it?

How can I get it?

Thanks!
Tessie

Hi again, just got the VST. Read a different thread. Now just want to figure out how to use it properly without deleting stuff.

I notice that most of these posts are 2007 and some 2008. Are there still players on Plant Tycoon? I know there gotta be crazy

I did notice in one of the postings a reference to changing the computer time clock and that it could affect the VST. Is there a way to better understand these potential problems ahead of time?

Is it okay to forward your computer clock, so long as you are signed out of VST?

And lol, I hope I can find this posting again after I close this out!!

Changing your computer clock is not good under any circumstances smile

We do consider it to be cheating, also, it can mess up many programs and applications on your computer.

From our FAQ:

Unpredictable results can occur if adjustments are made to the clock, especially moving the clock backwards in time. Different games will respond differently under those circumstances, ranging from minor statistics anomalies to killing whatever is living in the game. Specific problems that may be encountered in Plant Tycoon include seeds not being replenished in the supply shop and insects not appearing in the greenhouse.

While many people do adjust their system clocks to speed up play, doing so affects far more than just the games. Every application in your computer is affected, including the file system and Windows system applications. For all of those reasons, we do not recommend changing your computer's system clock to speed up game play.

Hi Tessie! There sure are a lot of players still playing PT! laugh In fact the first 7 pages of threads (topics) in this forum are all from 2009! laugh

Thanks Happy & Heather!

I didn't know that about the clock, thank you for letting me know.

I do need to learn my way around these threads. There are other games on here also.

Now, I am mostly wanting to learn how to use the VST correctly. Is there a thread or instructions somewhere?

Thanks so much, appreciate your responses.

Tess

There are instructions by the player that made the VST in the same thread where it was available for download smile

Ha ha, yes, it's extremely useful! I got frustrated with the game, and quit playing it for a while, but then I finally downloaded VST and it helps a LOT!
So, yeah, I'm still playing the game, and it's 2009!
You totally rock the casbah for that, by the way!
