Hi. I'm new. I love VF and VV games..

I was playing VF today. Went to the store in the VF game. My phone rang and I got busy. It was in the store mode for hours) But my peeps aged and did NOTHING but work. They are always in the same spot after I'm out of the store.. Time flies BUT, work level goes up and so on. Weird?

Oh, that's news for me!

I've never noticed that before as I always leave the store pretty quick.

Well, that can be a way to get your peeps to work and earn money then, huh?

Has anyone else noticed that thing?

It's normal for the game to do that. Whenever you leave the game on any screen other than the main screen for a long time, when you return to the main screen the game will 'catch up' on what should have been happening, much the same way as when the game first starts up. If your peeps are trained and motivated to work, that's probably where you will find them when you return to the main screen.

Not even trained. I tried it with a new couple today. I stayed in the store for 5 hours. Alot of money. I also noticed their energy level goes up. My family was also sick too. So, it's not a good thing. Hunger level was slow like on pause. But they weren't happy. This is my hard working family. Both LOVE working. Remember.. Easy money. But they age just the same.

I'm on my 4th generation. I don't buy upgrades. I noticed if you buy right away, the more lazy peeps get.

So I noticed on a previous thread for VF2 one of the mods said there is a glitch with some of the upgrades, making the people lazier. And from the above post, does this apply to VF1 as well? I typed the keyword "lazy" under search and was hoping for an answer, if anyone knows. My woman, Betty, in VF1 only has 3 children, two already in college. She is 45, she should at least be on level 5 in her career but she's not even halfway through 2! It annoys me so much because her mother in law had six children and mastered her career, why won't Betty? She can't use nursing as an excuse, she only has three. I stopped trying them for kids because I wanted to get her career going. She works in the workshop, and I added a box of tools when she started, could that be the problem?

I keep putting her back when she gets puffs of smoke, and god knows how many times I have praised her with the glove, fruit, and candy.

No, Thandi, there is no similar issue in the first VF. Does she dislike working?

No, she dislikes the rain, and loves computers. I'll post a screenshot of her profile incase I missed something. She is now 50 and is halfway through level 2 frown

Well, You can just wait and try, until death takes her. Let's just hope none of her children inherited her problem.

The sheer audacity of this woman! She is STILL on level two, she's not working for the money but asked me for groceries! Does she think money grows on trees?! Not to mention, I never have less than a 1000 units of food. I have had to try with her more than any other virtual person, you're right VV3 girl, I just need to wait for her to pass. mad

I can't stand it anymore... Betty is 56, still on level two despite my efforts this whole morning. I don't want her hardworking husband to suffer so I can't starve her to death. I was hoping she would have an illness and I would leave her to die from it but a doctor's consultation has just proved she's in good health frown I'm sorry to say, I'm going to try poison her by repeatedly injecting her with vancomycin!

* I swear, I'm a better person in real life smile

I couldn't kill her, VV3! eek

I bought several shots (14 to be exact) gave her ALL OF THEM and she got
Click to reveal..
very weak- very low health and very low energy. She could barely walk to bed.

It made me feel so guilty frown Thankfully a Deus ex Machina in the name of my phone crashing, meant that when I re started it hadn't saved that portion of the game. So she went back to being her happy old lazy self and I got a conscience smile

That wad definitely a sign, I have a good phone, it never crashes.

It made me pity her after that and I decided to accept it and retire her. She finally died at 64, oblivious of how I tried to kill her.

Her son is 38 married with three children and in level six so thankfully he didn't take after his mother!

Okay that's good. So, I don't know, it's weird. With families, you kinda wanna take care of them more, but with villagers you don't really care that much, espeically after you get farther in the game and you have a higher population.
