In my first game, when it rains, the sound of the rain doesn't stop when the rain stops! I've checked the shower/sinks but nothing is running. If I click to go to the menu, or even to another slot, the sound continues. It also happens with the radio, but fortunatly, that only lasts a few seconds.

This "carry-over" doesn't happen with any other slot, just the first one.

Is there any way I can stop the rain sound without exiting the game?

Version .05

mine does it too, but mine carries over to each slot as i look in on each game. I have to exit the game and re enter the game each time to make it stop

Drives me mad when Marc, my hubby's being playing merrily with his family, it's been raining there and the sound has carried over to mine and will NOT disappear! Having to exit the game altogether just to get it to stop or turn off the volume is quite annoying after a while. It didn't bother me at first but after the tenth time...........

To be a little more clear: The sound from the rain in the first slot carries over. The sound from the rain from slots 2-5 does not.

Yes, it's annoying, but we don't have a solution for it at this time.

I had the same problem on my MAC! I choose to remove the sound file (waterfall.ogg) and put it into the VF file named; Resources Disabled. Makes for a nice silent shower. laugh

I suppose, if you've got the correct software, you could copy John Cage, and record silence over waterfall.ogg. wink

I've gotten than mostly with Virtual Families 2. If the sound continues to linger, I exit the game and then re-enter and that usually works.
