He's referring to games that are written to run on the Symbian OS, an operating system that runs on many wireless devices.

Prologue

Hong Kong was a unique metropolis that gives people an open-eyed sight, opportunities, and wonders. On July 1, 1997, the owner of this land was changed from the British to the Chinese. This event does not only brought happiness to the people lived in Hong Kong, it also brought worries, why? Because China is a Communist nation, which means Hong Kong will no longer based on a capitalistic system. Questions came along in Hong Kong people’s mind such as: Will the new government prohibit their own leaders through democratic elections? No matter how Hong Kong became, the people still remain they way they are.

History of Hong Kong

Opium War

In the 1800s, British merchants found out they can earn lots of money by selling opium to the Chinese in Hong Kong, about 2 million Chinese became opium addict. The Chinese government asked for the British to stop selling opium to the Chinese, but the British refused, and the Opium War began in 1839. In the middle of the war, the Chinese asked for peace, and Hong Kong Island shortly became British’s colony in 1842.

Expand of the Colony After the War

Sea captains of British especially like the marvelous deep-water harbor separated the Hong Kong Island and Kowloon, so in 1860, the British forced China to hand over Kowloon to British. In 1898, Britain rent a large piece of land and named it the New Territories. After the hand over ceremony in 1997, this land is still called the New Territories.

The Migration and the Japanese Invasion

In 1911, refugees came to Hong Kong to get a better live. The population of Hong Kong became 500,000 by 1915. On December 8, 1941, Japanese came invading the British bases in Hong Kong, after 2 weeks, the British surrender to the Japanese army, and now the Japanese owned Hong Kong. In 1945, the British gather its army and attack the Japanese soldiers, in September, the Japanese surrender to the British and Hong Kong returned to the British’s hand. In 1949, the Chinese Communist won a civil war in China, the Communist drove more than 1 million homeless and hungry refugees to Hong Kong, in 1950, it is recorded that 20,000 refugees arrived Hong Kong each week Even though these migrations is illegal, the British didn’t do much about it.

The Handover Ceremony

In 1984, Sir Richard Evans and Zhou Nan signed a 1984 agreement that on the midnight of June 30, 1997, the land of Hong Kong will be transfer from the Great Britain to China. At the midnight of June 30, 1997, the flag of Union Jack that had been fluttered above Hong Kong for 155 years came down slowly and the Chinese flag slowly go above the city of Hong Kong. On July 1, 1997, Hong Kong is no more a colony of the Britain.

Condition of Hong Kong

Knowing the Position

Hong Kong was on the southern coast of China, it contains an area of 1,126 square miles, but only 410 square miles of this area are lands. In this small place, more than 6 million people live in there. There’s a peninsula attached to the mainland of China, this peninsula, contains the New Territories at the top and Kowloon at the bottom. Below Kowloon was the Victoria Harbor, across the harbor was Hong Kong Island below.

Climate

Hong Kong’s climate does not outreach its temperature like New York City does, but still the way the weather behaves is unique in Hong Kong. In spring, the temperature is usually warm, rainfall occurs often. In summer, it is hot and humid, this is also the season when the typhoons came. In Fall, most of the time is warm like in spring, and in winter, it is comfortable and there’s isn’t snow like in New York City does.

Food

The way people cook today in Hong Kong are not like the ones used by the ancient Chinese, however, the method of cooking is. Some ways of cooking are frying, steaming, smoking, and fermentation. There are different kinds of restaurant in Hong Kong, some have seats outside the restaurant and inside, some have lots of windows onside the restaurant where you would be able to see the outside and some sell tasty but unhealthy food outside the street. You can also eat foreign food such as sushi that is commonly sell in the supermarkets.

The Way People Live

Everyday Life

If you arrived to Hong Kong and found the crowded people walking on streets squeezing you and pushing you, let me tell you what they are looking for, they might do many different things, but the most common thing they are doing is going to work.
Hong Kong people have the spirit of working, they try to work the hardest they can so they can give a better future to their children.

Transportation

In Hong Kong, there are four main ways of transporting. They are trains, buses, airplane, and boat. Hong Kong’s train station was amazingly clean, the cost of a ride depends on your destination. The most amazing thing about these train is that on the floor it shows an arrow where the door is going to be open, and the train is unbelievable accurate! Between arrows there are walls where it protects kids from falling to the rail. Buses are also use for transportation, all of the buses are double-decker buses, some are air-conditioned and some aren’t. The cost of a ride can be as low as HK$1.20 to as high as HK$45. One dollar in the US equal about HK$7.7. Boats are commonly used in the Victoria Harbor, they often used for people who go to work.

Home and Foreign

The Hong Kong people usually speak Cantonese as their main language, other languages are also spoke depends on if the parents are refugees from a current place or not. There are foreign people such as Americans come to Hong Kong to visit this beautiful place, so there are also many different languages are spoke by foreigner.
In Hong Kong, students study Chinese using Cantonese, also they study English and Mandarin as well.
Luck

Chinese New Years are also celebrated in Hong Kong, in that time, adults give red envelope to children to wish them prosperity. Kung hay fat choi are commonly say by people, meaning wishing you prosperity. When Hong Kong people decided to buy an apartment, they usually pay a feng shui expert to tell them the way to put things that will make the spirits move freely.

Medicine

Hong Kong people cure their sickness in two different ways, one is using the Chinese herbal medicines and the other is using the modern medicines.
Landmarks worth a Visit

Ocean Park

The Ocean Park was a marine-based park that includes everything you would wanted to have, inside the park you would be able to see the animals under our world, hear the screams of the people, play the unique Abyss turbo drop, taste the delicious food, and smell the nature. In the future, this park would be the most marine-based park in our world.

It was interesting though. Was that a game idea?

Personally, I think someone else's idea of Sea Monkeys would be much easier to play.
