New 'Shopping' Family Trip-August 2021

Hi there,
Has anyone been able to buy any of the furniture for this venture? The adults just shake their heads when placed on the furniture that highlights and don't ever browse thru the merchandise no matter how many times I place them in that store.
I thought maybe it was because I didn't have enough funds with me, so I took $40,000 on one trip. BIG MISTAKE!! They still shook their heads, no sale. Then $27,000 disappeared - no sale of any kind!! Just disappeared! Then another 8,000 was deducted for negligible items - some candy, one dress, stomach medicine - which all came out simultaneously, but not $8,000 worth!! I won't do that again!!!.....
So, has anyone figured out how to purchase the furniture?? Is there any way to get the money back?? Please respond. I need the advice.
