Totally given up on game

As of today, 8/17/202, I have "given up" on this game.
Been "weeks" since I got this game thru Microsoft, because my "bought gane" went out on me in mid-June. And lacked only 2 puzzles in getting to Chapter 2.
I "thought" I had 2 sites to find "my answers" to, but now there is only 1, this one, and I have been "posting" and "aggervating" Kegean, sorry Kegean, for help, and here it is mid-Aug., and still no help.
As of today, I have only 2 kids, both 8, and 1 Master Gather, and still can't get them to take the red crab to the "slippery moss".
There is "absolutely no interaction" between the crab and kids.
In game so far:
Pop.- 26
Techs.- All in Level 2
2 deaths- Both "almost" Masters.
Master Gatherer

So LDW, a "heart-felt thank you" for 5 of 6, including VVOS2, of the VV's games.
I'm going to keep playing VV 1-5.
