Curved phone - can't collect saltpeter

Hi! I've read several explanations on how to collect saltpeter on the lower left area of the screen. My problem is that I have a curved phone screen (Samsung Galaxy Note 9) so it seems to be impossible to drag a villager to the correct spot - I can't get the villager far enough to notice strange water. Does anyone have tips for getting around this? I have tried to zoom in as far as possible and it doesn't fix the problem.

We've tested this ourselves and were unable to recreate it. Can you confirm what puzzle you're working on right now? Salt peter can't be collected until you complete all of the 12 puzzles in Chapter 1 and begin Chapter 2.
