My game completely reset- Help?

I bought the game from Big Fish. Last night I went to bed with about 22 villagers, 10k food, 8 puzzles completed and somewhere over 150k tech points. My chief to be was on 19 yrs old,his 3rd reincarnation and a master of everything but healing.

I loaded the game this morning, and it asked me to create 5 villagers. Thinking, oh no, all my villagers died overnight, I did. But it has reset the game back to the beginning, with all my efforts gone.

I shut it down, came here, and checked the forums. Reloaded the game to check for the help option to get the email info, but my version doesn't have that. So I shut the game back down.

Is there any way to restore or do I have to start all over again?

Last night before you went to bed did you go into the settings menu intending to put the game on pause while you slept and maybe accidently hit the reset button instead?

The dev does not support the Big Fish version of the game so it can't be restored but on the bright side at least you know how to solve the first 8 puzzles for your new game.

Bummer, but I figured I was out of luck. No, I left the game running,so craft items could be done when I got up. Thanks for the reply tho.
