Where did the tasks go?

After the update, I haven't gotten any tasks for the town people or for the assistant. Any idea why?

1) Has a full day passed? The game day tasks should update at 5 am.

2) Do you have a consistent, reliable connection to the Internet? In some cases, transient connectivity can cause a problem with day updates.

3) Have you manipulated your devices Date and Time in order to move the game along faster? This will cause disharmony in the game's internal clocks and the results are unpredictable (but not fun).

4) Do you play during the day (5 am to 8 pm) or does your day of game play start after 10 pm? Do you play between midnight and 5 am? There might be a problem with timing related to game play in the wee hours.

Those are a few of the problems I've had or have seen other people experience. My personal bugaboo is the connectivity thing; I trip on that one ALL the time. I suspect the most common reason is manipulation of the devices Date and Time.

In any case, report it to Support and they might be able to help you out.

I play between 1:00 pm and 10:00 pm.

Internet was just fine.

I don't mess around with time travel.

I think it was that when the game updated it reset some sort of clock within the game. The tasks showed back up this morning. I went in early to check.

My game updated yesterday and I am having the same issue today. It is not just the tasks though, I am not seeing the usual trash to pick up and grass to cut. I hope my issue will resolve itself as well!

(I love how I am still a "newbie"... I have been a member for years, I just don't post often.)

Yeah, I didn't see the usual trash to pick up or the rocks to break open...all in all a very quiet day.

Everything should be back to normal tomorrow. Mine is now.

I do love the new additions to the game. You guys make the most interesting and addicting games! Keep up the great work!

ETA: My mayors Best Friend is now gifting me something other than seeds and minerals. YAY!
