Barbecuing in the rain

My peeps are mad. I opened the game and it was pouring with rain, plus thunder and lightning. I got an event. something like 'What a wonderful day! Let's all have a barbecue.' They all collected food from the fridge and proceeded outside to cook it. As I say, mad.
