Indestructable Pets? - 03/16/13 07:46 PM
Since pets don't appear to die, is there a way to sell them, or are they doomed to either wander the house or live in the "decorate" bin generation after generation?

I think you can sell them the same way you sell furniture

Nope. Dragging them outside the gate does nothing.

Over two months and nobody knows? Surely I can't be the only one with pets cluttering up the bin.

I ventured onto these forums for exactly the same answer. Because they also appear with game events, I now have a collection of 17 pets and no known way of getting rid of them, apart from leaving them to clutter up my inventory. Tried everything, including the garbage bins. When dragged outside the gate, they simply walk back in again. We need a 'send to animal shelter' option. Preferably, they should age and die, as do the little peeps.
On a humorous note .... 17 pets descending on the dinner table when the little peeps sit down to a meal is nothing short of hilarious.

We are working on an update for the mobile versions of VF2 (iOS and Android) that will allow pets to be sold.

How does selling pets work? I've dragged pets outside of the yard, like you do with furniture and such, but they just walk right back in.

Hi Sarah! Pets can be "re-homed" by opening the decor tray and dragging the pet outside the gates until the green "Sell for ___" text displays. Release the pet and you should receive coins and feedback that your pet has a new home.

Wonderful! That worked. Thank you.
