Villagers making babies by themselves!

I have level 2 fertility and found the "Fish of Fertility" in the lagoon. I left the game for 30 minutes just now, and I found that two of my villagers had "gone indoors" without me looking at them (the female villager is holding a baby and I have no idea who the baby's father is!!!) This happened twice before I found the Fish of Fertility, is this normal or not?

I too have found that my villagers will get busy while I'm gone! I find it annoying due to the fact that I breed my villagers to get certain heads and like to have a bunch of children at the same time so they are all the same age. But yes I guess we can just consider them accidental pregnancies?

I noticed that myself is it a bug do we think? If what they call BREEDING (think that's creepy sounding) anyway if breeding is a skill so they get busy while your away then that's just wrong it's kind of funny though!! Hmmm wonder if swimming in the ocean will cool them off a bit

Lol I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks that! They changed it to Parenting (which sounds much better!) in the other VV games though.

this just happened to me last night! i've been trying to keep track of siblings and parents but i woke up to four kids and have no clue who made them. ):

This was LDW's first VV game, so has a few ... um, rough edges. As well as 'breeding' being changed to 'parenting', the later games show small pictures of a kid's parents in the info screen to show who the parents are.

This has happened to me. Before I found the fish of fertility, I could go on and see that 1 or 2 of my people had given birth while I was away. Then, I found the fish of fertility and soon upgraded to level 3. The next time I checked, I had 9 nursing mothers! After that, 6, and a while after, 14.
