If you really want me to spoil it, then be prepared... First, BE prepared... You should probably have at least 3 Master Builders before starting this as it takes time. AND make certain you have enough manna (God Power) to strike lightning 3 or more times.... (Although there is a variation of using bees but that was difficult to keep in control). First off, have the Builders out of the way but VERY close at hand to the Guard Totem. Then strike the heathens with lightning bolts. They run north to the woods. Hurry and grab your builders and drop them on the totem to begin the ruining process. Keep an eye on the heathens. When they get back down to about the river, they should still be bunched up. Hit them with lightning again so your workers are not hit by it but will continue working. Repeat until the totem is done and your heathens will leave your mausoleum alone thereafter.

I hit them with

lightening, while keeping my Builders close by to move in AS SOON AS as the Heathens take off running. Also, throw 1 or 2 Master Builders on the Blocking Totem immediately
to begin tearing that down.

As the Heathens start meandering back, they'll want to fix the

so keep your guys working on the

Mausoleum.

Until the Heathens fix the

Blocking Totem they'll stay out of your way, but once fixed, then they'll come after the mausoleum again. Let them. Once they start scaring away your builders, put you Master Builders back on the Blocking Totem again.
Build up your energy to hit them with lightening again in the meantime.

Also, the

work on the "Rascal" Heathen because he's the one that will start bringing the older Yellow Heathens back into the picture. Just keep them far enough way from where you're working so that they don't bother you. Always keep your builders & Master Builders close, and AS SOON AS the Heathens make their move to fix what you've torn down, quickly drop them on the other - alternating between

the Totem & the Mausoleum.

When I finally got around to clearing the debris, it was already topped out at 1000%! I thought I'd never finish, but I had about 10 adept builders and 3 master builders working on both items alternately. It took about 2 hours, which was great - I thought it would take 2 days!

P.S. Butterfiles are your friends. They're "cheap & easy"! LOL! grin

One useful trick to prevent blue-masks repairing the totem while you're trying to tear it down (and stop them filling up the mausoleum again) is to

drop a villager on them. If they don't have a light over their head they will listen to a conversion speech. If the light is on, they will run away as they don't like being approached too often.

I had a tough time first time I played because I waited too long to go after that goal.
Click to reveal..
I finally beat them with first lightning and then got my peeps on the rocks with a master on the totem. When the red guys started coming back, I hit them with bees until my points ran out. The yellow heathens I fended off with a decoy. When the blue heathens come back to rebuild, I put a peep on them and the blue heathens would flee. Then did it all three or four more times when I had enough points to try again.

The second time I played I noticed that totem had NO red heathens guarding it so it was the first thing I went after. After the first conversion attempt on the blue heathens, any subsequent attempt sends them fleeing so it was easy to drop peeps on them to get them away. I then put all my peeps on removing the rubble and dropped a peep on any returning blue heathens. I skipped the totem so did not need a master builder.

Ack if mine is already at 1000% is it going to be pretty much impossible? I have 1 master builder & 3 trainee or adept builders....this doesnt look like its going to happen but I dont want to have to start all over again.
Whats the best way to go about this?

No, it will just take longer.

You'll have to find a way to keep the red and orange/yellow masks off of the worksite. OR you can try to attack the totem.

In my current game I got the mausoleum early on and only had to dispatch the blue guys while my kid distracted the two yellow masks trying to get there. Although the heathen master builder did decide to try and work against me near the end, but I was able to interrupt him and I don't think he affected progress much.

Hi Been stuck on this for a week! I see in the guide what they suggest to do, I've done what people are saying in the forums but the problem I'm running into is that - well, up until the other day I thought that the blocking totem & the mausoleum stuff were seperate puzzles. So I was spending all my time & power trying to remove the materials directly from the mausoleum.
Now that I realize what the blocking totem is, I have been trying to do that but really only have one villager who can work on it. And she just cant get anywhere before the red guys (& others) return. My max energy is 436 but it just isnt doing it for me...
Could someone tell me a specific tip or something?

Edit: Also I didnt mean to end up with only one master builder but at this point, I havent been able to get any others...help. Its been Soooo long!!

If anyone reads this- I managed to train 3 more master builders but I still cant get anywhere with puzzle 6. I'm starting to want to give up. Suggestions? Hints? Tips? Anything? I can get the red guys to leave, I can drag the yellow ones away, but progress on the totem just doesnt get far enough, even after using the you know what as many times as my energy will let.
I'm really afraid that my master builders will die before I get this done & then theres not much chance of doing it at all after that.

Don't give up YaelleG!

You have to solve Puzzle 7 first. I was in the same boat and trying with 2 Master Builders which of course was not enough. I did get close though, just needed 1 more lightening strike to get those heathens away! Unfortunately I also ran out of energy. I did eventually manage to get the job done with 3 builders though.

If your tribe can support a larger population then start baby-making. More villagers will raise your energy faster.

Here's how I managed: Wait until you have the max energy that you're allowed. Is it more than 436 now? Set all of your Master Villagers on the totem. Once all of the red and orange heathens approach them, pause the game, place your builders at the mausoleum for safe keeping, unpause and zap the heathens with the lightening. As the heathens run away, immediately place all the master builders back to the totem. If they stand and do nothing even for a second, pick them up and drop them back on the totem as there is no time to spare.

Each time the heathens come close to the totem again, move your builders to the mausoleum and zap the heathens with the lightening. Do not let any of the heathens start to repair the totem.

See how far you can get with this strategy. There were a few additional things I did as I ran out of energy but since you have a 4th builder you might not need to do the other things I did.

I might wait until I got a larger population and try and get more builders trained I think with the above be good idea to train my peeps as builders so might keep it as it is.

I had all four of my villagers unblock the Mausoleum before I broke any of the totems at that time their were only three blue mask witch I trained a devotee on them and then sent them running after their light bulb came on. p.s. the forth one started to work at the Mausoleum after the food bin was finished.

If all else fails,

Click to reveal..
Finish the statue and increase your population until you get the earthquake power, which will allow you to convert all the heathens. Then there will be nothing to stop you.

Regarding running out of master builders:

After you finish the statue, polishing the statue will increase building ability, so it's never too late to get Master Builders.

What I find useful is:

Click to reveal..
Use the oldest villagers to distract the yellow masks, the heathens will take longer to chase them as they basically walk at a crawling pace.

My main suggestion about destroying the idol is to keep your game on the normal or slow speed. I was trying to do it on the fast speed and I couldn't control the heathens. They were coming out too fast and rebuilding too fast and too often. Once I changed it to the normal speed I was able to get my builders to complete the task at hand.

As for cleaning up the masoleum, you have to keep those builders on the job. It's a nasty job and they don't like to do it so you have to keep pushing them back to the job at hand. And also pushing the kids out of the way. It's a long job and it's boring bit keep after it. Put the game on pause for a while and go back to it. frown
