Questions about Puzzle #11 (contains spoilers)

So this one has to do with the crab? or that's how it looks with the carving of the puzzle, something to do with a feast or something? I'm confused....Anyone figure this one out yet?

You need all variety of items (e.g. plants and foods)

As far as I know I got all 4 herbs, berries, fish, yellow fruit, mushroom and from the food bin. I had to put like 3 hot rocks under the pot cause the stew kept getting cold. I dont think I used crab. Hope this helps

Add one of each of the three herbs to boiling fresh water. Next, add some food from the food bin. Finally, add the following ingredients in any order: a mushroom, a bowl of blackberries, a cooked fruit from the tree, and a flying fish.

K, here's exactly what you need to do. Fill pot with fresh water ( you can use the pots by the top of the stream) Put a rock in the fire to get a hot rock. When rock turns red, put rock on pot and you get boiling water. Use one sweet herb, one soapy herb, and one spicy herb on pot. Drop a villager on the food bin to put food in pot. For the other ingredients, you need a flying fish (blue), a mushroom, a cooked fruit from the tree, and a mushroom. For flying fish, drop a villager, preferably one with farming experience cuz it makes it easier, on the pier. He/she will add fish to pot. Drop villager on fruit tree and he/she will cook fruit and add it to the pot. Drop villager on the blackberry bush and he/she will add a bowl of blackberries to the pot. Drop a child on a mushroom and he/she will add it to the pot. You may have to wait for a mushroom to appear, but you can hit spacebar to pause the game so you can drag the child to the mushroom. Et voila, you have The Grand Feast!

I have every ingredient (food & herbs) tried both salt and fresh water...I can't get it to work. Is there an order you need to put the food in after the herbs? berries, fish, yellow fruit, mushroom - is there something I am missing? There has to be.
I get water, heat rock and put under pot, put in herbs from table and then add the food items...what am I missing? Maybe I am not holding my head right - lol

I have tried, and tried, and tried, and tried again. I just can't get it. Plus the stupid bush refuses to grow more berries.

Since I multitask can I assume if they take the product to the bin rather then the pot that means that means that it's already been added? (Pot's boiling and I set more then one person to the task at a time.) Because that means I have everything in there I'm suppose to have and it's STILL not working!

Nevermind, FINALLY got it!

To get crab drag 2 children to distract crab and drag adult to catch it.

You need 2 bowls of food from the food bin. No crab required.

1. Add fresh water

2. Add hot rock

3. Add one of each yellow, red, white herb

4. Add fish

5. Add berries

6. Add melon

7. Add food from bin 2 or 3 times.

8. 1 mushroom. Use a kid for this one.

How do you get fish/berries/etc in the pot? They just go in the food bin.

Make sure the herbs are in the pot before you start adding food!!!

2. Drop adult villager on rocks near bridge, he/she will put rock on fire

(Steps 3 and 4 can be done in any order or simultaneously)
3. Drop adult villager(s) on yellow, white and orange/red herbs. They will bring them to the table near pot.
4. Drop adult villager on hot rock from fire (after it's turned red)

(Steps 5 and 6 must be done in order)
5. Drop adult villager on table with herbs so he/she will “cook”
6. Drop adult villager on food bin to get “something nutritious”

(Steps 7-10 can be done in any order or simultaneously)
7. Drop adult villager on blackberry bush
8. Drop adult villager on fishing pier
9. Drop adult villager under hard fruit tree
10. Drop child villager on mushroom

Well most of these things are right.

Firstly, I am pretty sure you don't need a crab
Secondly, you need all three herbs.
Thirdly, you will need food from the food pile. (you may need to add them twice, on first and one last.)
Fourthly, you WILL need these items, flying fish, mushroom, hard fruit (heated first) and blackberries.
For those of you who do not have blackberries, you may need to wait a while for them to grow back.
This is what I did-- after reading these of course, I had difficulties too :D-- and after doing this Puzzle 11 Was completed.

You can put the berries/fish/mushroom in before the food from the bin.

put the ingredients to the bin before adding them to the stew.

Boil your fresh water.
Put in one of each herb.
Tell a villager to cook by putting them on pot.
When they say "Unfinished", take them to berries (not to food bin). They will take berries and it will say "adding to stew".
Again put cook on pot, when it says "unfinished" take cook to knock down a fruit. That will get added.
And similarly get a fish.

I've added everything else, and tons of food bin food, after mushrooms have been added in there. The kids just pick the mushrooms and take them to the bin.

Except for the food from the bin, the others will not be add twice. Try it with blackberries or crab or fishes... they'll be also put in the food bin.

Nursing mothers (apparently) put their babies down to eat! While there was enough food to go around, my three nursing mothers' babies disappeared. Once the pot was empty, the babies reappeared in the mothers' arms.

How do I get the blackberries to the pot? When I try it just says "harvesting blackberries". And when I try to get the fruit to cook in the pot, it won't. The fruit just dissapers.

what i need to figure out is how to get the uncooked fruit to cook and how to get the berries in the stew! it keeps saying "harvesting blackberries" wen i try.

I think I got the villagers to add the food that I needed (blackberries, etc) by first taking them to the simmering pot, getting the message that it needs something else, immediately taking them to the item that I wanted them to add and dropping them on it. Usually they would add the item I wanted.

- 3 herbs
- some food from the food bin
- 1 mushrom
- 1 berry
- 1 cooked yelow fruit
- 1 fish

Gather all the herbs first, then boil the fresh water, add the herbs, then drag individual villagers first to the pot, then to the food source. I would only do this when the rock is heated (in the fire), and you can see a mushroom. Or, just keep heating rocks. Either way works. You will need: Mushroom, cooked fruit, fish,berries, and 2 bowls of food from storage. When the herbs are added, drag a villager to the pot. They shoud refuse because "an unfinished stew is cooking". Just drag the kid to the pot, and don't worry that his subject line doesn't say anything. Then drag your villager to their chosen food source, and their subject line should read, "adding to the stew", with the exception on the fruit, which will look normal. If this is all done right, when a villager eats it, it should say "somthingsmells YUMMY!" All the other villagers will have the same status, and they will all run by the fire.

I think it is so cute how they all get there bowl full and sit by the fire
