Longest run of generations before game over?

After 2 years, 3 months, and 59 (or so) generations on my Ipod Touch, my family finally died out yesterday afternoon.

I have reluctantly decided to restart the game with my usual rainbow-haired beauty. :-)

How many generations has everybody else been able raise before being forced to start over?

WOW! That is truly amazing! I stopped counting sometime after the 30th generation. You make me wish I had kept on counting! Congratulations!
