What Generation does Duct Tape show up?

Hi, I am at my first generation still but the parents are now 47 with 6 children - 2 Sons and Triplet (3) Girls. I have yet to see Duct tape show up in the store and I check frequently. No way I missed unless it came during the night when game was off.

Is this normal?

It can take a while for the Duct Tape (and other items) to show up in the Varied Items section of the store. It is normal.

What do you use duct tape for? I’m confused...

It's used to repair something in the game. There is a lot of discussion about the duct tape in the VF1 forums (especially in the VF forum for Windows and Mac). The puzzles are the same for all versions of VF.
