VV5 display issues and update - 02/20/11 08:06 PM

Arnie,
How and where do you get the upgrade.
Someone, in another post, said I think it was you, that you had it on Facebook? I don't do FB. I was also so wondering will it affect the game I bought. Will I have to "repurchase" VV5 to get it?
Still loving the game. I have had some problems, but found the answers in the forums.

Over in the left hand side of the forums is a Facebook widget. It shows LDW posts on Facebook. The one that speaks of the update is quoted below:

What I want to know is when I take my game off full screen, as my computer screen is large but it's more wide than tall so the task bar hides the menu and I can't click on it which means the top to bottom is narrow. how do I hide the task bar or which is best to place it should I cascade windows, show windows side by side, show windows stacked, show desk top. I not tried any of these?

Ann,

Depending on your display adaptor, you miht be able to change the screen resolution. Right-click on an empty area of the desktop, and choose "Display Properties" or similar (the wording may be different depending on the actual drivers you use). You may be able to change the resolution to higher than X x 768 - try experimenting.

If the resolution won't go any higher you can auto-hide the taskbar - right-click the taskbar, choose Properties, then, on the Taskbar tab, check "Auto-hide the taskbar". The game will still not quite fit as the edges of the program make it slightly larger than 1024 x 768.
