Triplets - Photos & Info

Triplets were born at our house today. This is our third set of triplets in this family line. Being curious, I looked back at the parents of the other triplets and found that all three sets had the same two matched parents, Miss Rainbow and Mr. Mohawk.

Their desire for children doesn't seem to be a factor. For this set of triplets, Miss Rainbow's desire for children is MAYBE and Mr. Mohawk is NOT REALLY. They had them right after getting married this morning, Miss Rainbow was 23 and Mr. Mohawk was 21. The triplets were a big surprise.

I am wondering if certain couples are more prone to having triplets than others? It certainly is in our case. We're still waiting for triplets in our other families. What is your experience with triplets? Same parents? Same family line? Or?

Would also love to see photos of your triplets! They are so much fun and completely adorable - even though a lot of work keeping up with them!

This is from my 1st set of triplets - Vivax (the mother) was a twin herself.

Here is my second set of triplets - and they had a brother that looked like them!

Moonlyght - LOVE the little redheads, so cute. I got a redhead girl once in one of my families, with a ponytail, but that is the only one, guess they're rare or something. They look like their dad. Your triplets all seem so well behaved! LOL

Are your triplets in two different families or in the same family but different generations?

I just have redheads, can you believe it? I can count the generations I have without any red-haired peep!

These are 2 different generations - first triplets were on my 11th and the other were on my 13th generation. I'm on my 23rd generation now, and from there I just had twins (at the most).

I love the blue-haired peep! I just had one once, she was adopted. She started my next family, I even built a blue house for her, but she had no blue girls - only red-haired! *lol*

So your Miss Blue came from a family that had triplets and her son Zip also had triplets. She was the grandmother of triplets, same family? Interesting. But then no more triplets for 10 more generations?! Wow! You only play the one family?

It would be interesting to see if the same marriage match that had your triplets would have them again, that is if the same two matched heads would have more of a chance to have triplets again.

I'm not sure why we don't get redheads in any of our other families, not for lack of trying! LOL

4th Family had a few sets of triplets too, but like third family it died out without the last child marrying. Same with 6th family- So if they do have multiples I will keep you posted.

Yep! I'm just playing one family! (I decided to have just this one until I get all the trophies - I'm waiting for my last one now. )

And that's true: I've only had 2 sets of triplets in 22 generations, can you believe it? And it's no lack of trying (all my families have 6 kids) and no lack of baby boost (now that I have money to spend I give tons to my peeps *lol*)

Just because we were talking about that, my peep had just been married and got triplets! (on my 23rd generation).

Again, adding to my "research", the father is one of the twins from my previous family, so multiple = multiple.

It was the first try - right after the wedding - without baby boost.

She is still nursing, so I still have to rename and redress the three girls.

Congrats Moonlyght on your new triplets! They're beautiful! Bet that was a surprise for you! I like the names Taffy and Katella, but Portal definitely leaves something to be desired.

There seems to be quite a few ugly names the game passes out that are computer related, like Linux and Jpg, not to mention the terrible pet dog names like Spot or the made-up names that make no sense at all. They should have got a woman involved in the names database part of the program!

Oh, and the triplet girls all have new names and clothes now.

OMG - Patricia Rabbit is right! She now has a litter of kids!

But what's going to happen when they all leave home and leave the parents to be alone for so many years? Unless you have one late last child that is.

Well, I'll wait a little for her to "breed" *LOL* again. But I had many other families where the old couple stayed there without kids for a long time.

It's just some slow motion walking to get used to. *laughs*

A new set of triplets were just born into my rainbow family. This is the 4th set of triplets in 13 generations born in this same family and without fail all the triplets were from a pairing of Miss Rainbow and Mr. Mohawk. No other pairings have produced any triplets, such as Mr. Spike or Miss Blue, etc, only Miss Rainbow and Mr. Mohawk together have the triplets! See family photos below.

Right after having the triplets, this family then had twins! Quite a prolific pair! Both also reached level 8 in their careers in their 30's. Since they had so many children fairly young, they are going to be alone for a while in their old age. Keeping up with this large brood has been hectic.

what is the best way to get them? i been tryin and it seems i cant.

I randomly had triplets in my first generation on my second batch of kids wit a woman who didn't want kids and a man who "definately" wanted them.

It's random, baby boost won't help very much either.

On my second generation. Third try for having a baby and I got triplet. :] First set of triplets ever. Had to share.

It's always such a happy moment when the triplets come!

I started a new VF game and I just had my first set of triplets as well. Even though I had already finished the game before (finished the first one, got all the trophies) I was really happy when it happened!

That's one of the many things I love about VF - it doesn't matter how many times you play, you always enjoy the game!

My newest set of triplets. Don't know if the fact that Mom and Dad were a perfect match helped matters or not.

In this first family, I had twins, and then the last girl she was adopted, I was happy. Then the second generation I had triplets, and the last girl was also adopted. I thought it would be the same for the third generation, and I had them try for a baby, and they had triplets again, and this time it was boys.

My family just had triplets on the second generation, I couldn't believe it. It came out of the blue!

Wow! Congratulations on all the triplets and red-heads! My very first birth ever was a pair of beautiful twin boys. To Callie and Saffron Sadly, I chose their little brother to carry on the family, ha ha. Too bad I'm on my iPhone, can't do screenshots!

Trying to Get the Triplets Trophy? This may help.

I just started a new generation in one of my families that needed a triplets trophy. Both parents are a perfect match - both DEFINITELY wanting children, both with similar careers and no incompatible likes or dislikes. I tried something different this time though, right after they were married I gave them each a baby boost shot even though they didn't have a doctor's recommendation for the baby boost and with their good compatibility there probably wouldn't be any problems having children.

Right after the baby boost shots I put them together for the first time and they are now celebrating Miss Blue triplets. Those of you looking for your triplets trophy, try perfect compatibility with both DEFINITELY wanting children, and baby boost shots immediately after the marriage. It worked for this family. My sister had twins or triplets in the first five generations of Virtual Families on her file. I'll show you a picture if you like.

I wish I had rainbow or blue haired triplets but atleast I have this rare family.
