Garden decorations in Plant Tycoon

Do the garden decorations attract customers when you click on them or are the responses for our amusement only? Do the garden decorations that do not give a visible response attract customers too?

Well, I remember that when I clicked the tortoise decoration, people would come to see it spit water out of its mouth, but I'm not sure about the non-interactive decorations.
