No babies?

Hi guys. Whenever I send to villagers to have a baby, they never do. I've tried every single combination possible and the woman always comes out with no baby. Does anyone know why? I am playing the free version if that as anything to do with it.

How many villagers do you currently have? I've never played on a mobile device but it could be that your villagers are at the maximum allowed for
(a) the number of huts you have
(b) the mobile version
(c) the free version
(d) some other reason.
You can keep putting them together and see what happens Watch the "action line" for clues.

Since you're playing the free version, the maximum number villagers you can have is 9. If you already have 9 villagers, you cannot have villagers give birth until one villager dies.
