Esteemed Elder limit? - 04/18/09 03:01 AM

I have several villagers that have mastered three or more occupations, and are still not Elders, I've solved all the puzzles, have all the tech upgrades, and my graveyard has exactly 50 headstones, even though I've lost more than 50 villagers. Is there a limit?

I have also completed all the collections, had 40 villagers before I completed them, was told each time my population limit increased by 5, then 10 for completing all the collections, and still my population will not go over 40(unless I have twins or triplets). Is this a bug?

I can answer your first question. There is a limit of 50 headstones. I'm sorry I can't answer the second one. I don't have an Ipod, but the headstone limit is the same as the windows version.

The maximum population for the iPhone version of VV2 is 40 villagers. If twins or triplets are born when the population is near the maximum, you can get up to 42 villagers. If the max population is 40, we'll not be able to have 50 Totems!
I wonder if we'll be able to have 40 totems or less!

I've had 50 Elders/Totems many times in the iPhone version. Don't forget that you continue to make new villagers as old ones die, and they can all work on becoming elders.
