For the cutscenes, or for the female villagers? Interesting. Never thought about that...

LOL! I wonder what the pay scale is for voices? Would saying "Oh!", "Huh?", and "Hey!" be a good career choice? Maybe if there is ever a VF2 it could be a career, and they could say those things into the computer's microphone.

I remembed something funny when i read that what Barbara said
(The voices are all done by professional voice talent. ) Voice actors can even made voices for characters of the opposite gender!!! We see it in The Simpsons with Nancy Cartwith (Bart, for example). And... in video gaming... well, someone played Mega Man Zero? Everybody thing that Sage Harpuia is a girl, due to his japanese voice casting( the american casting was never do). But, he's actually a guy. Weird.Eh? crazy

I'll give away my age here by saying that when I was a kid we didn't have a TV; not many families did at the time. We'd often listen to children's serials and plays on the radio. Many of the "child" characters were played by adult women. There were (still are) strict laws about how many hours a child actor could work, so it made sense to employ a woman. There was also the danger that a child could grow up "too soon" and their voice break during recording.
