My laptop is heating up when charging

After a recent Windows update, I encountered a strange problem. The device heats up whenever I connect the charging port to my laptop. Has anyone else come across this problem? Please help....

Anyway guys, I found this informative by searching online that recommended some specific steps to fix the issue. What do you think, would it be a good idea to go forward?
