I admit, I actually do not have FT for PC or DS, and I'm not sure which one to get. This thread should answer that general question, because I want people to post comparisons between the two games and what makes them different from each other.

I have read some where on the net that in the DS version there is over 700 fish while in the PC version there is over 400. There are also new fish in the DS version that were never in the PC one.

(I have to get me a DS now, lol)

It is only for the Nintendo DS and DS Lite. It will not run on a PC.

I got Fish Tycoon for DS!

In FT for DS, there are 7 new fishs

The tanks is 3D and you can use your stylus to move around the tank, sort of like VV.

The Fish store is also in 3D as well.

You can play FT DS entirely with stylus.

You can only keep up to 20 fish in each tank instead of 21 in PC

Well, it sounds awesome! My brother can't seem to find it (Fish Tycoon for DS, that is) though. I'd definately get a DS if they released Virtual Villagers for it! Yes, I'm obsessed with VV 1 and 2...

You can also keep both kinds of medicines on hand at all times. I have played both versions and really like the DS version better because it has more options and it is portable. You can carry it in a pocket and play anywhere anytime.

I ended up ordering FT for my DS on the internet because I couldn't find anywhere that already had it stocked on the shelves.

Thanks for pointing that out. That link was posted when the game first came out for the DS, and Majesco had changed their site since then. I've updated the link so that it works again. \:\)
