how to transfer game progress to new device?

I have been playing the game on Galaxy E tablet and just got a new Galaxy A tablet. I use Smart Switch to transfer everything to new tab and game came over but not the progress. It wants me to start over. I do NOT want to start over!!!! How do I get the progress to transfer over to the new instance?
