Downloading games on new computer...

I decided I want to download and play Virtual Families 2 again, on a new computer. I purchased it long ago on Big Fish. Will it already have any updates that have occurred since I last downloaded it? How do I know? It says Version 1.1.1 BFG when it comes up. Does BF get all the updates? I don't know how that works! Also, I might want to replay some of the VV games. How do I download them if I purchased them through LDW? Thanks!

I have been having problems downloading new games on my new laptop also. It is the newer Windows operating system, 8.1. It's sad that I can't play the older games on my new pc.
