I know that someone had posted this pic before. This event has happened twice for me before when ringing the gong. The gong grants vision. Then if you immediately go to the graveyard you see this ghost. Pretty cool!

I not taken the pictures. I had 2 events today the first Island Event was the parrot scarring the researchers and lost over 20000 tec points. Then the gong grated luck and then soon after the second Island Event happened and gaind 1000 tec points.

So, I read that someone (won't name any names) thought that the pic was fake because it said "Nursing a child" when that phrase was only in VV2. Well, in the online version, which is what VP is using, it says "Nursing a child" I checked it out after I read that discussion.

Actually no, from what I can remember, someone created a mod which changed the fish the farmers got from the ocean so that they looked like snoopers. I forget who though.

I've gotten that before too. It's right after she releases the baby. For some reason it gets stuck on that action for a few seconds after the baby is released.

When you pick someone up there's often a little dust cloud puffs up. If you then paused the game it would stay in the air. Did you pick up the kid from the spot where the 'ghost rock' appeared?

I suspect that picture is what was left after a rock-carrying peep was picked up right before the game was paused. Dropped things slowly fade, and the dust cloud is a dead giveaway to what happened.

She didn't make it, it just happened. The mother was standing directly behind Sef, making it look like he was holding the baby. That happened to me in VV2, too...

I checked in on my newer vv2 village, and was looking through the Detail screen for my newest kid, when I saw that Mamba's said she was nursing. But where's the Baby?! So I clicked out of Detail and saw that she was "going indoors" all by herself! Then I left this village and checked in on my older village.
When I got back, she had just came out of the hut, and I saw the baby pop into her arms. When I checked the detail screen again, she now had the baby! (This is my first picture posts and I don't know how to size them smaller.)

I had that one nursing the dead when the gong greated life so what ever they where doing at the time appered in the details. fishing had twins so had two fish, your skelleton, and a couple of other females had fish also and one nursing two lots of laundry.

That's a relatively common glitch when a villager falls sick. It is also sometimes seen immediately after opening a game, even with a healthy mother. There are lots of shots in the forum of villagers nursing things like fish and even, I believe, one with a skeleton!

i have someone neither sick, or nursing laundry, or doing laundry. i think it is because she is only a teen. i can not take a screenshot of it but i can tell you, not only she is doing that, but also her other two sisters. they are triplets. they are Cape, Fiji, and Luna. they are 15.

I've got a villager who looks identical to Palanke. She, too, dislikes running, although she seems uncommitted on snakes. She has just turned 14 and has started work as a scientist. She soon became an adept and is on course to become a master before she's 18. As a child she spent a lot of the time "running around" in slow motion as well!

Actually, I selected him, then selected a girl, and then selected him again. Then I tried to see if it was someone behind him. After several tries and he was still there, I paused the game and took the pic!

When the chief was lecturing the children, one little boy was missing, hiding in the clothinghut, he got no education at all that day
When you leave your game running they will stay on that spot and get adults and elders without ever seeing daylight ...
Usually I tent to free them by closing the game and start up again otherwise it's hartbreaking

You don't need to close the game. Just click and drag on and around the clothing hut and you're likely to get a chorus of squeaks as the kids get set free. Before I set the chief to teaching I always try to remember to do that, although I've forgotten a few times.
Closing and reopening the game will probably cause a different set of kids to get stuck!

I didn't take a screenshot, but this situation was kind of funny. I had two villagers with two women come out of the love shack, one of which was nursing, then the two guys immediately went for the other women, BOTH embraced and BOTH went into the love shack with the one woman, lol.
Going to have to wait until that woman finishes nursing to see who the father actually is.

I didn't take a picture of it, but on my VV1 for android I got 2 girls who looked almost exactly alike, except their outfits were different and were born at the same time. Both were named Ashby.

I just come and be looking at past screenshots I use to go to work when I used to be on a lot every day, is it as busy like it used to be? I have retired so the lockdown does not affect me as much now I am retired.

Little to no activity sadly.. I am a relatively new member but it makes me sad to look at old threads and see how much fun this place used to be. Even in recent times like 2016, i remember having a lot of fun with people here. That was when Virtual Town was newly released and we became a lovely and active community with some newbies like me and also some old members.
Thing is, forums are dead in general, people mostly prefer Instagram and Twitter and Whatsapp to socialize and nothing else. Tiny communities have almost no chance to thrive in 2020. Still like to check here every now and then.

This is Sef. As you can see, he's not very keen on medicine and flowers.
I dropped him on the cactus, just to see how he would react. Surprisingly, he didn't run away, and began to study it over and over again...
Then I showed him the rare rose. He didn't seem to mind. However, as soon as he was done with it, he moved on to examine the cactus once again.

That's interesting. I never figured out how do likes and dislikes in vv work.

So far I've noticed that those who dislike flowers won't enjoy the garden. However, if you take them there in your hand, the status bar would say that they feel very well there, just as every other villager. Also the ones who don't like to swim would try to leave the water as soon as possible.

It is commonly believed throughout Isola that kids can't swim, but when the heat wave comes, some like to float on the water
(for some reason, their whole body is visible when they swim, not just the head)
