there is algae in the ocean and the coconuts are half gone. I only have 5000 tech points and level 2 farming. how can I keep them fed?

I'd recommend getting

level 2 construction and building the dam. When you do that, your villagers will have crops. You'll need level 3 farming to get rid of the algae, so get researching, and keep an eye out for mushrooms.
