How much television do you watch in a week?

There are 168 hours in a weeks time. If you slept the recommended 8 hours a night, that would mean you were awake 112 hours. How many of those hours do you think you spend in front of the television? What is your favorite program?

If someone puts their favorite show and you don't like it, keep that information to yourself. This is not a poll about shows you dislike. Different people like different things and we will be respectful to others.

I dont watch much TV myself. I am either here on the computer or off doing something else (usually cooking for everyone in the house ). I watch about 1 to 1 1/2 hours of news each day and have very few shows I like. Right now I do watch "He11's Kitchen" with Chef Ramsy. Another one I like is "Samantha Who". It is funny.

I have to choose the third one... I watch a lot of TV (relatively)... most of the time, however, I record the shows I want, and then watch them later... usually all at once. lol
I don't think the last one is going to get many votes...

I watch some tv at night, before I go to bed to clear my mind from VV3....
My favorite shows are Seinfeld, Friends, the Office and Lost. I am enjoying American Idol this year as well (great season!).

I watch alot of tv at nite, when I'm not at work or at school or doing schoolwork. I love Top Chef, Seinfeld, and King of Queens. I've heard that He11s Kitchen is similar to Top Chef, but I've never seen it. I love movies! That is my fave.

To tell you the truth, I don't watch much TV, (cuz I'm always on the computer) so I put 1-20 (though it might be more sometimes, but not by much.)

Phoebe and I LOVE George Lopez. It sucks that we have to go to bed before the second one starts (but not tonite cuz it's spring break)

I'm a girl, but i used to watch Cartoon Network, even after Sailor Moon went off the air. When Disney made started making "cool" shows, in my opinion, i started watching Disney.Yes, in the morning, i watch Playhouse Disney.(I leave my TV on in my room.Lol, huh?

I used to watch more TV than I do now before I found these forums.

I'm mostly on the computer.1-20 hours.

Ummm... anymore I don't watch too much television. I just don't have the time and what free time I do have is usually spent on the computer, namely on these forums, in the Shout Box.

However, I still said that I watch one to twenty hours because I know usually I watch most, if not all of the NCIS (if I remember it's on) plus short parts of multiple different shows, including Lost, any of the CSIs, Deal or No Deal (I prefer the French version though... ), Big Brother (only because my family is addicted to it so I get stuck on it too. ), Law and Order (I blame my brother! )and a bunch of others that I don't remember their names. Oh, and I also watch Ghost Whisperer, again only if I remember it's on.

I watch a-lot of T.V. but I think I would say that my favorite show is Big Brother!

My favorite shows are American Idol(As Carla said Great Season),
Deal or no Deal,Ghost Whisperer,and many others,oh and Spongebob and Cartoon Network.

i put 1-20 i watch american idol, bones, hannah montana, deal or no deal, thats pretty much it. these forums keep me away from watching t.v.

I don't watch much TV either. My favorite show is CSI (Las Vegas). That's pretty much the only thing I watch regularly. Sometimes, if it's been a long day, Handsome and I will curl up on the couch and watch a random B movie, but that's it.

Truth of the matter is, I "listen" to a lot more TV than I watch. Mrs. R. has one or two tv's blaring about 20 hours a day! About all I really watchare St. Louis Cardinals baseball; News; Some shows on Discovery and PBS like "how it's made" "this old house" or "antiques roadshow." I must confess the only show I watch on a regular basis is: (you won't believe this )Young & Restless. My wife got me hooked on it when we first started going out many years ago, and now I try to watch at least 3 episodes a week. Mondays; Tuesdays & Thursdays are the days when most of the "big stuff" happens, so I try to watch those days for sure!

I watch well under 20 hours (closer to 6 hours/week). Unless you include Spongebob, Fairly Oddparents etc..., I have a three year old. My very favorite show is Ghost Hunters with TAPS, House Hunters, Friends and Finish the Lyrics (I think that is what it's called). But I don't watch any of these on a regular basis.

Lucas** The Oprah show: Oprah's Big Give had an episode with my General Manager (Jake Hart from TGI Fridays in Greeley Colorado where they helped a military man that was injured in Iraq and he and his family were about to lose their home. It was pretty cool since I had never seen the show and was entertaining friends and said "Wow, that the same name of my G.M. at work... humm that even looks like him... Holy Cow!! That is him. That was really cool! *** Sorry to ramble I was just really surprised, and by the way, not only is he really a GREAT guy, but Fridays has been a wonderful company to work for. And NO I'm not a manager or anything, just a lowely shift leader/server.

I listen to TV when I play computer cos my grandmother likes the dramas. I watch it about 2 hrs a day during weekdays when I'm not tied up with homework and 5 hrs a day during weekends. I like Pokemon. I know I'm lame lol.

I spend more time on my computer playing one of my numerous games or reading one of the gazillion books I have. The times I generally watch TV is either when I first get home from work and sit down to rest with feel elevated, or if I feel the need for a break from the computer/ book.

It's easier to say that I watch Animal Planet, History Channel, Discovery and Discovery Health, Science Channel, Food Network and if I just want to veg out then I'll flip on Cartoon Network (so long as the toons are watchable, like Spongebob or Futurama.)

What's even funnier is that I kept trying to figure out which manager drove that SUV because it is sooo nice. Then I saw that episode at it explained everything!!

I put 21-40 hours.. I tend to watch a lot at night.. I watch, Biggest Loser, Big Brother, Dancing with the Stars, Lost, Survivor, Grey's Anatomy, The Soup, Ace of Cakes, CSI (Miami & New York), Criminal Minds, Pushing Daisies, but my all time favorite show is Moonlight.

I'm on the puter a lot, and record my shows for watching later, I love anything forensic! All the CSI's , NCIS, Criminal Minds, And House, That Man Always makes me laugh. And I hate to admit it, but I Love "Family Guy"

I've always watched alot of tv growing up, but now I find myself working and trying to get sleep more since my boyfriend passed away in October. If you're over 18 pls go for your annual check up. High bp will kill you.

I agree 100%... I LOVED that show. Like I said earlier, I do not watch much TV. It is hard to find something that will hold my attention from week to week but Journeyman ROCKED!

Well i put less than one because i watch around 0 hours a week i know....boring life, but still there is the games that keep me going. now if you had a poll for games... um i would say 114 hours a week

i say i watch spongebob and fairly oddparents, ever since i could post ive been posting endlessly and its getting my family nuts.

I have nothing to do except watch tv. I live in an area with no kids my age and i don't go out much.

Our tv is usually only on once or twice a week for my boy to watch playhouse disney. I love watching Lost and Grey's Anatomy but I ususally do that online. I don't have to worry about recording and can watch at my convenience.

I really watch a LOT of Television,even if my eyes aren't on it,there's not a moment it's not on!

I also actually WATCH it a lot too!

And I usually watch some cartoons and anime!(Pokemon in specific!)

I would have to say 61-80, I spend the rest on the computer unless I have to go somewhere. I watch my sailor moon videos, naruto on saturdays, digimon at 6:30am, pokemon, avatar the last airbender, spongebob, Life with Derick, and i'm gonna' stop now because that list could possibly go on forever.

I record Lost, Samantha Who, He11's Kitchen, Men In Trees, Grey's Anatomy, all the CSI's and Days of Our Lives. I watch them when I have time...

If I remember they are on, I enjoy watching Dirty Jobs & Deadliest Catch, and some of the shows on TLC.

I love, Big brother, Hell's Kitchen, Lost, Survivor and a few others but with dvr I find myself spending alot less time watching Tv.

I get stuck watching Hockey (OK a Canadian who doesn't like hockey)...so I vegge here on the computer-other than that I watch the news-& not much else.

I used to watch t.v. ALL the time but now...*gasp*...I have no t.v. or reception to watch the downstairs t.v. So I watch online now a few shows. My favorites are Lost, Heroes, My Name is Earl, The Office, Medium, and Criminal Minds. Although that last one is too much for me sometimes so I don't watch it much anymore.

American Gladiators (Go Crush and Wolf!!!), He11's Kitchen, CSI, American Idol, House, Survivor, Wife Swap, Escape to Chimp Eden, Orangutan Island, Meercat Manor, Animal Cops, and America's Got Talent.

Animal Planet is one of my favorite channels. I LOVE Orangutan Island! And movie channels like Starz and HBO. Don't get them, but love free preview weekends!!

Virtual Villagers keeps me off the television.

I really just watch movies...I can't handle commercials I'll pick a movie at bedtime to wind down though I usually don't finish it. Some TV shows I like are Scrubs, House, the reality TV de jour and Cold Case but I don't get to see them often. Between kids, remodeling, travel, hobbies and VV forums...TV ranks low on my 'available time' list!

I recently got into Family Guy. LOL, Phoebe watches it too. Luckily, she doesn't understand much of it.

With this survey I'm wondering if the cost of my cable is worth what little TV I'm actually watching. I watch about a half hour news and weather in the morning, a couple of favorite Christian TV shows (which I could also watch on the internet) and Nascar on the weekends. I'm mostly on the computer playing Virtual Villagers.

If I watch anything at all, its usually whatever movie catches my eyes (like currently I'm watching coco chanel movie on lifetime) otherwise I just have either something on for background noise, like a tv show (that I usually don't listen to) or House MD or just some music I have on my shelves (that I've meantioned before to Gamey and a few others hehe).

If I'm not playing the VV games (or pt) I much rather go to the zoo honestly :3 or go minigolfing, I miss that hehe

I haven't had a TV since I moved into my apartment 12 years ago! I have a radio and plenty of CDs and I can watch DVDs on my computer, so I don't miss it at all.

I love watching iCarly, Wizards of Waverly Place, Jon & Kate Plus 8, and sorta Lost, but I can't keep up with it! Shows I really wanna see but I'm not quite allowed to yet: South Park, Seinfield, Friends, and The Office.

TV had always been a problem for me. If the (bleep) "boob-tube" was on, it absolutely DEMANDED that I sit there and watch -- even the rubbish that I didn't like. I lost so-o-o-o much time that I vowed never to own a TV. So now instead I own a Mac, and I spend way too much time with internet or with games. But at least it doesn't holler at me "C'mere! Siddown! Waste a few hours on garbage you don't even want!"

I only watch TV if something is preventing me from getting on my Windows XP or laptop (And that is extremily rare). If I do watch TV, it's usually TeenNick (Ned's Declassified, Drake and Josh, Full House) or Nickelodeon (SpongeBob, the Fairly OddParents, and all of the old shows they show early in the morning. ).

Otherwise I watch old shows I like on the Internet. TV doesn't have shows like it used to. /:

I haven't watched TV since 1986. I like books, and I like computer games, but TV just doesn't do it for me. A friend did give me a DVD of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, though, since she thought I needed to see that. She was right.

I watch it non-stop.

I don't watch much tv, but when I do it's usually through Netflix and whatever new shows/movies they add.
