VV1 was only translated into three other languages: French, German and Spanish. VV2 is only available in English.

VV3 is the first to be translated into seven languages. smile

Re: VV3 available in 7 languages! - 12/01/08 10:10 AM

That is true! I actually remember arthur playing a video game in italian and learning a lot of sentences... and it's hilarious when he comes out with one of them during a conversation!!!

Re: VV3 available in 7 languages! - 12/01/08 02:43 PM

It's what I do each time I play in English!! laugh

But, take care, I just downloaded the French version and it didn't go in another game but change the game I already have! As it was a new version!

My villagers are now speaking in French and I must make a certain potion to see how they say "loomajoob..." in French!! laugh

Re: VV3 available in 7 languages! - 12/01/08 03:22 PM

I am sorry, but I am not so enthusiastic about the other langages version.
I read the sinopsis in Potuguese and I am very disapointed. If a smal sinopsis is presented with so many falts, I am afraid with what I can find in the full version. If someone tried to learn Portuguese with that I am afraid about the results! Portuguese is my native language, not english, as you all can see by my post. If I tried to translate a Portuguese game to english you'l noticed and find it very very bad! I don't know wat is the native language of the translator (I may guess... but I am not sure! Perhaps Spanish?) but it is not surely Portuguese!

Re: VV3 available in 7 languages! - 12/01/08 04:02 PM

The portughese translation of the game (like the translation of all the other languages) was made by professional translators whereas the little sinopsis on our website was not. Maybe we should take the sinopsis off. Sorry about that. But all of our games are free to try and you can certainly try the portughese version and see if you like it.

The French version is very good!! Thanks a lot!

I notice that my villagers are now able to fix and examine the huts by their own! As it's a new version, 1.00.051, I suppose there is some improvements in it!
Is there an English version 051? laugh laugh laugh

Thanks again to Carla, Arthur and Barbara!!

PS: They still say "Blannesama...." so I still don't know what it means!! wink laugh

I would like to try, but can I go back to the original version if I don´t like this one? Must I buy it, or this is only an upgrade?
Posted by: CarlaAdministrator

Re: VV3 available in 7 languages! - 12/01/08 11:06 PM

These are not upgrades, but are separate versions. You can however, install the portughese version over the english version of VV3 and you can revert.

Re: VV3 available in 7 languages! - 12/01/08 11:10 PM

Ok. The vv site is fixed and says dutch correctly.

Il faut mettre exactement le nom sous lequel tu t'es inscrit puis le code. Le mieux est de faire un copié/collé! wink
(You must put exactly the name you used to subscribe, then the code. The best is to do a copy/past!)

Re: VV3 available in 7 languages! - 12/06/08 02:20 PM

If the original English version was bought from another games site like Big Fish, their key won't work in the LDW version. Will the localised versions be distributed via the games sites?
Posted by: LadyCFIIAdministrator

Re: VV3 available in 7 languages! - 12/06/08 07:19 PM

If you purchased the English language version directly from LDW, all you need to do is download the Free trial of French version for Windows and it should recognize the activation code you entered for the English version.

yes I do well this email from where it gives me the key, but said the key or the name is invalid, I do not know what to do: s

(oui je fais bien cela à partir du courriel où on me donne la clé, mais sa me dit que la clé ou le nom n'est pas valide, je ne sais plus quoi faire :s)

Re: VV3 available in 7 languages! - 12/06/08 08:01 PM

Est-ce que tu as déjà acheté le jeu en anglais? (did you already buy the game in English?)
Et où l'as-tu acheté? (And where did you bue it?)

Je crois que pour l'instant, ça ne marche que avec un jeu acheté ici, à LDW. (it looks like that, for this moment, it works only with the games you bought at LDW) frown

Re: VV3 available in 7 languages! - 12/06/08 10:06 PM

For now the localized versions are only available through Zylom and now also here at LDW. In a couple months they will be available at other online sites that carry localized games.

The best thing to do is to use our Support Form to report the problem you are having with your activation code. Unfortunately, we cannot assist with activation problems on the forums, due to the personal nature of purchase information and activation codes.

Does anyone know how to change back to English?

Just reinstall the English version over the other one.
Posted by: halidog

Re: VV3 available in 7 languages! - 12/21/08 02:42 PM

Are there steps (I know, I'm 'technologically impaired' laugh )?
Posted by: arnie

Re: VV3 available in 7 languages! - 12/21/08 02:54 PM

First make a backup in case of accidents (unlikely but possible). See the FAQ for help.

Now find the installer for the English version of the game. If you can't find it, redownload it from http://www.ldwsoftware.com/zips/VV3Setup_v10004.exe

Run the installer. (Double-click on the file.)

When you reopen the game it should be in English again.

Note that this only applies to games downloaded from the LDW site.

I'm sorry but in English it's written Portuguese and not Portughese. Would you mind changing it in the LDW website please?
