*CLOSED* Best Captioned Picture Contest I - 09/01/06 07:25 PM

We are holding the "Virtual Villagers Best Captioned Picture Contest I" !

How to participate:
* Take a screenshot of your little villagers and add a caption.
* Attach your screenshot to this thread or the one called Share your pictures
* We will of course consider the screenshots already submitted in the thread called "Share your Pictures", therefore, if you have posted a screenshot you don't need to submit the image again.
* You can submit more than one image, if you want

Every screenshot will be examined by us at ldw.com and 5 lucky winners will receive a Virtual Villagers T-shirt.

The winners will be posted here on our website on September 21st!

Here is how you take a screenshot of your game:
Press the "Prt Scr" button (close to the F12 button) and then paste it onto an art program, such like MS Paint or Adobe Photoshop.
If you have your own image uploader account (like photobucket or imageshack), upload the image there and use the UBBCode to display the pictures. Otherwise just attach the picture on your post.

Here's mine... a tribute to all Star Wars dorks like myself. I couldn't refuse once I got the cave open. Plus, I had a villager named Obi (I assume his last name was Wan!), and he gave me the idea. So kind of him!

I don't have Virtual Villagers on this computer, but if I did, I would make one with a villager at the cave worrying that he might get eaten by a grue.

Is referencing a text-based game from 25 years ago going to make sense to anyone?

When I did the setup, I left the GC unchanged as the "Warden". The bizarre thing is, after I did that, the GC threw a lot fewer parties. Go figure.

It was really really hard to choose the final 5. All of the images were amazing!

We had two runners up and therefore decided to extent the prize to them too, since we couldn't decide.

Reminds me of a joke I recently heard. A little boy was getting ready to walk out the front door of his house to catch the school bus when his mother asked him, "do you have clean underwear on?" The boy asked why would she ask such a thing? Of course her response was, "well if you are in an accident and go to the hospital, you do not want them examining you with dirty underwear." The boy thought a moment and said, "That doesn’t make any sense mom. If I'm in an accident it really doesn’t matter if I have clean underwear on or not." She then asked, and why not? His response was, "well if I'm in an accident, I'm going to poop my pants anyway!"

Attachments have been disabled for now. The only way to display pictures is to use a link to pictures that are hosted elsewhere (such as on your own web site or photo hosting sites such as ImageShack or Photobucket).

Ummmmm, cemetery is spelled right. How many games have you bought recently that didn't have bugs? At least VV2 works, and it's a lot of fun to play. I've bought expensive boxed games in the last coupla years that weren't even playable until the first or second patch and haven't seen a game yet that doesn't have bugs.
