[SPOILER] Another semi-newcomer!

Hello everyone!

I've been a fan of the VV games for a while now, and have finally discovered this amazing little commuity.

I'm 21 and studying computer science of the University of Brighton (in Brighton, UK, funnily enough ;))

My VV2 village is coming along quite nicely. I thought I was just about done, but turns out the builders have something new to work on! I'm still hoping the elusive 2 rare beetles and 1 rare pebble might turn up, but that's probably wishful thinking!

Looking forward to wasting my days playing VV3, can't wait!

Hello Jo! Welcome to the forum! And good luck for your last collectibles!

I am also new, though I asked some questions first and now getting around to introducing myself.
I am new to computer gaming and do not come from the computer generation. I found Virtual Villagers after some time searching for a game that does not call for shooting aliens with a ray gun, because I am terrible at doing that. I am so happy with my new game! I wake up early every morning so I can have to time to check on my little folks. Each new one that comes I have to find a name that fits just right.
I am also glad that this forum is friendly and welcoming. I see that I am years late finding VV but people are still talking about it.
I have done a couple of rounds with VV, right now playing three games at once to keep myself busy and see more things happen. Pretty quick plan to VV2 and read what everybody says about #3.
Oh, and my daughter just announced that I will be a grandma in Oct. (my first)
