why do they do laundry? I mean it's logical that is because they're dirty but.. do we get point or gain ability or anything at all? also is there a faster way to make the baby grow? i just started the game and have 8 villagers i lost 3 of my masters. another question is what is the most valueable tech to have, farming, building or etc??? please help

Think of the techs in terms of what's needed to help people who don't have many resources survive... and that leads you straight to food, i.e. farming. It is possible though in the easy and normal mode, once you keep a careful check on your population, to get science first (and increase the speed at which you get farming). The only way to make the baby grow faster, other than 2x speed, would be to tamper with your system clock, which is definitely not advised, since that can lead to some pretty alarming results.

Think of the waiting as a way of increasing your own tech level in patience .. lol

lol bajantara...I've never thought of it that way before, increasing your tech in patience \:\)
even though it's hard to wait for everything to happen in the beginning you don't want to rush anything! soon it will be over and you'll be waiting like all of us for VV2 \:\)
So take your time and enjoy it while it lasts.

I seem to find the games go pretty fast, i mean, i turn the game off with say, 11k of tech points, go on 15 mins later, and i have 15k!

The babies i also find grow very fast aswell

As for the laundry, it isnt that they seem to be obsessed with:

it is the stupid cactus and boulder! Once, this guy had just finished looking at the cactus so i thought he would go and research(scientist). But no, 2 mins later, hes bck at the cactus!!!!!
