increasing chances for island events

increasing chances for island events - 09/30/05 10:52 AM

If I leave my palm running with village sim on will that increase the likeliness of island events occuring? I have a 67 old adept builder and have yet to solve puzzle 12. I'm hoping for either wreckage to wash up on shore or to turn him into a child again. Any suggestions?
Thanks

The Island Events are random, so there's no sure way to get the events that you're looking for. I haven't specifically tested whether or not leaving the game running will increase the likelihood of an event occurring, but it certainly won't hurt anything to try it! I know of several people who have managed to solve puzzle 12 using those storms to train their builder.

How can a mature villiager become a child again?? I have had my village going for 2,885 hours and not noticed this happen yet.

There is an Island Event that will turn a villager into a child again. In order to see it, you have to have that Island Event occur, and you have to choose the action that produces that particular outcome. It's highly unlikely that you would see all of the Island Events in a single game, no matter how long you play it (but 2,885 hours is a long time)!
