I have one game advanced into several generations and I give youth to all my villagers with some or all devote skill and let the others go. All but one collectible and all puzzles done. My goal is 10 masters of all skills.

I have been mating devote masters only and putting devote masters as teachers and still end up with a very few children with devote skill. I have learned that a very tiny bar (but a bit more than none at all) can sometimes work and I get the villager honering...

Isn't this supposed to be a way to continue this skill? I always make sure the devote skill is checked as well and not just mastered.

Yes it is, however, it is a skill that was designed to be purposefully difficult to master. Good luck! smile
